Board of Trustees

SRCR is governed and run by a Board of Trustees who meet about 7 - 8 times a year. Trustees have ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the charity and ensure that it is solvent, well-run and delivering the main aims and objectives for the benefit of the carers for which is has been set up to support.

The Board is made up of Trustees from all walks of life, it is vital to have a cross section of skills within the Board. Some have good business experience, others have knowledge of the social care system, others have hands on experience of caring. All of these are important and we welcome enquiries from anyone interested in joining the Board.

If you think you have skills to offer, call 01723 850155 for an initial discussion with the Chief Officer, Elizabeth McPherson.

Our Volunteer Team

An important part of the Carers Resource team are the members of our Volunteer Group. They play an indispensible role in the functioning of our organisation with their involvement in administrative tasks, fund raising and awareness raising.

The group provides an oportunity to meet with and make new friends and at the same time make a valuable contribution to the well being of the caring community in our Scarborough and Ryedale area. Learn more about our volunteers and perhaps become one yourself... [more]
